Best Time to Visit
June to October is ideal for wildlife viewing, coinciding with the Great Migration in the Masai Mara. January and February offer excellent weather and fewer crowds. Avoid the long rains of April-May when some roads become impassable.
Cultural Notes
Kenya is home to over 40 ethnic groups, each with distinct traditions. The Maasai are famous for their colorful dress and jumping dances. Always ask permission before photographing people. Swahili greetings go a long way in building rapport.
