Palestine to United Arab Emirates: What You Need to Know

The UAE and Palestine maintain diplomatic relations. The UAE has significant Palestinian diaspora communities. The UAE visa process for Palestinian Authority passport holders goes through sponsors or service providers rather than a traditional embassy application. The UAE-Israel Abraham Accords (2020) have created some additional complexity in the UAE-Palestine relationship, but UAE visa procedures for Palestinian Authority passport holders are standard.

How to Get There

The UAE does not currently offer a self-service eVisa portal for Palestinian nationals.

Money & Banking

UAE uses the UAE Dirham (AED). ATMs widely available. Card payments accepted almost everywhere.

Practical Tips

The UAE's large Palestinian diaspora means many Palestinians have family connections that can serve as sponsors. Emirates and Etihad airlines may facilitate visa applications for their passengers. Dubai (DXB) is a major transit hub for Palestinian travelers.
