The best time to visit Congo-Brazzaville is during the dry seasons: June to September (main dry season) and January to February (short dry season). The long rainy season (October-December) and short rainy season (March-May) can make travel difficult.

Congo-Brazzaville has a rich cultural scene, particularly in music. Brazzaville was a center for rumba and soukous music. The Sapeurs movement (Society of Elegant Persons) originated here - stylishly dressed men parading their fashion despite modest means.
